With the opening of a light rail system (RTD) from the Denver Airport, downtown Denver is now quicker and easier to reach. Learning Tracks Provide Focused Learning Opportunities
From hands-on, how-to communication sessions, to practical case studies and management tips to technical, financial, and legal topics, you create the curriculum that’s right for you.
These introductory sessions cover the basics of employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs). Attendees gain basic knowledge of topics such as ESOP feasibility, stock valuation, legal issues, taxation, financing strategies, plan design, and more. Participants will leave the conference with a clearer sense of the next steps to take.
ESOPs: Beyond the Basics
For those who already know the basics of ESOPs, these sessions address finer points and emerging issues. Attendees learn about administrative challenges, repurchase obligation, accounting, legislative and regulatory updates, innovative transaction structures, and more. A session on legal and regulatory updates from the past year is offered.
Compensation and Benefits
Employee ownership changes the context for compensation and benefits in terms of managing benefit levels, maximizing motivational impact, and addressing trade-offs between personnel expenses and profitability. This track also includes sessions on executive compensation, and looks at equity compensation in non-ESOP companies as well as ESOP companies who have international divisions.
Communications & Culture
In these sessions, many of which are hands-on and interactive, learn how dynamic companies involve and engage their employees.
